La Cocina was my go to restaurant for my main meal of the day while in San Cristobal during my 2 month stay. You are offered the choice from 3 different unique means prepared to order with fresh safe ingredients that come with soup, rice, salad, and an aqua fresca. Some of my favorites were chicken mole. Croquettes, and crepes. The owner and staff are extremely friendly, talented chefs and make you feel at home.
Genuinely one of the best places I've eaten at in San Cristobal. The food was excellent and the price was great. Definitely worth checking out.
Very authentic dishes that tasted great. The staff was super friendly and the prices were amazing. I would definitely come again when visiting San Cris!
Great place for lunch and great value for 75 pesos. Came here multiple times, wish I found this restaurant earlier in my trip. They have 3 different options daily and they are all good.
We’ve been in Mexico for almost three months now, so to say we’ve had a lot of chicken would be an understatement. This was far and away best chicken we’ve had. Also, for 75 pesos you get soup, a juice and a main course. Had a wonderful espresso and slice of flan to finish. If you’re in San Cristobal definitely visit La Cocina!
I love this place! Delicious food and great atmosphere!
Lovely fonda-style restaurant. Food is super tasty, staff is super friendly and prices are fair (120 for a 3-course meal, including hand-made corn tortillas and agua de jamaica)! There are both meat and no-meat options.
Amazing food for amazing prices. The ladies that run the restaurant are incredibly sweet and welcoming. We had breakfast and then returned the next day for lunch as the food was that good. Very accommodating of vegetarian options also. Can’t recommend enough!
